Kari's Answers: Either with a train or a bus. I asked at both the train and the bus station and they said something. I'm still not that sure. Are you looking for someone to go to Finland with?
I am looking for 1) people to go to Finland with; and 2) bridges to Finland. Do you have any knowledge about how to find friends and bridges? Any thoughts you have would be much appreciated! Thank you! I love love LOVE your bloggy blog column thing. It's amazing! It helps me every day. Lots of love and all the best!
EEEEEHHHHOOOOO!!! So on this blog, it says: "Who is Kari?" There are three answers. A) Choirguy84, B) Doodlez, and C) Emmy. This is not a quiz or a test, mind you, this is the TRUTH. Kari is a combination of these three amazing humans and voices BUT ALSO there is a fourth person on this blog (Kari). Maybe it's ironic or maybe it's just straight Bulgarian baba magic, but here's what I know: I can't sign in on this blog (read all the posts related to technology if you don't know that I'm sort of tech-behind :))) !!!)...So anyway, I can't sign in here to make an actual posts so all of my posts will have to be comments. VOILA! See? Kari's Answers already starting to show magical workarounds after all these years... We are back at it!!!
For today sweet friends, let's focus on CAULK. (Not that kind, get your mind out of the gutter. Unfortunately, this post is not about the good, mind-in-the-gutter kind of CAULK (penis? rooster? chalk?) it is about the bad kind of CAULK as in actual CAULK as in filling cracks in your windows, doors, and baseboards. Recently some stinkbugs, cockroaches, sow bugs and other slimy sticky creatures have tried to make my home theirs. I mean, mi casa es su casa and all that jazz, BUT NOT WHEN IT COMES TO BUGS. In Bulgaria had slugs and I welcome them with open arms compared to these little pests. SOOOO although it's taken me awhile to get to the point (SHOCKER) --> here it is: IF you need to caulk a window or door or what have you, WATCH A YOUTUBE TUTORIAL FIRST. That is Kari'sAdvice. I went right for it and was on a phone call and just grabbed that caulk gun and caulk and ran with it. Then I realized I needed lots of paper towels (next time I will try something more sustainable - really, I mean, my caulking process does not need to contribute to global warming - and the good news is neither does yours!). Try gathering: -a butterknife -washcloth -bowl of warm water -caulk -caulk gun -peppermint bug spray (smells so gooood!) -good Bulgarian chalga music -a phone call with a friend (the latter 2 will keep you occuped as you do the caulking project). Fill up the holes, scrape off the stuff that will be unsightly next to the crack, let dry and you are done! A locked door for the bugs.
BUT if you take nothing else away from this post - REMEMBER THIS: CAULK DRIES FAST!!! Like, really fast. YOU HAVE TO SCRAPE THE EXTRA CAULK OFF THE WINDOWSILL OR IT WILL END UP LOOKING LIKE A JACKSON POLLOCK PAINTING. If that works for you, excellent. If not, scrape that stuff. This is my advice - take it or leave it - but know I give it with lots of love and a good heart. Because I am in the caulk fight!!!
