Kari's Answers: That sounds delicious! I have actually googled this, and no, according to google this is not possible. I say try anyway. Soak some bread in some milk and throw that piece in the frying pan. See what comes out. I don't recall if I ate mine or not. I'm still alive, so probably not.

Just Say No ... to Ironing

Question for Kari: What do you think is the worst invention in the world?

Kari's answer: Hands down the iron. I hate ironing, it's horrible. First of all, do any of you know how to put an ironing board away? If you do please tell me, I mean I've had to start using it as an extra table because I cannot for the life of me close it.

But to get back to the horrible iron. Peace Corps volunteers should NOT have to iron their clothes ever! We're not going to any Black Tie events, which is maybe the only time you should iron your clothes. Except when you meet then President, then you should iron your clothes. So I just don't iron my clothes. I try and then the iron gets water on my clothes and I take that as a sign that I should wear something else. And if people give you crap about your clothes being wrinkled you should tell them to go away.

I just want to add that I respect all the ironers in the world. They are the BOMB!!!

Travel

Kari: How do you get to Finland?

Kari's Answers: Either with a train or a bus. I asked at both the train and the bus station and they said something. I'm still not that sure. Are you looking for someone to go to Finland with?

Kari's Answers: I love blogging but sometimes it can be hard because I forget what my blog is called and where to find it on the Interweb. If this ever happens to you, I suggest you try to remember your name in as many different combinations as possible, or check more than one blog provider and repeat with the name combinations. Unfortunately, Google Search will not be able to help you if the question is "what is my blog called?"

How To Prevent Oven Fires

Kari: I am baking a cake in the oven, but my oven always burns the top before the middle is cooked. I heard that covering it with foil will help prevent this but won't that catch on fire?

Kari's Answer: First of all, baking is HARD. My friends and family have banished me from the kitchen, so props to you for even trying. Now, if you were cooking eggs (which my egg bro and I are famous for) I would advise you to add as much as possible. Red wine, why not? Sea food seasoning, heck yes! Baking questions though .... I'll give this a shot. Foil is safe to use in ovens but not in microwaves. (or at least that's what google tells me) So go for it, cover your cake with foil and have no fears of it catching fire. Although it's probably best to have a fire extinguisher handy, just in case.

Make-Up

Girlfriend: Let's say I have a special event and I want to look nice, but I don't have a lot of time or money. What would you do, Kari?

Kari's Answers: Well first of all, congratulations on having somewhere to go! Xaide Nazdrave! I am a lady not unlike yourself. I love going to friends' houses or doing body shots at the disco. The answer to our time and money issues is so simple that you might not even believe it. I only use one product! That's right, I use one tube of lipstick for eyeshadow, blush, and Lipstick! That way I am ready to roll out of the house at any moment, and I can be sure that all of my make-up is matching!

Lighters

Roommates: Kari, I want to smoke a cigarette, but I don't have any matches or a lighter. What should I do?

Kari's Answers: I find that delivery men always have lighters. So I think, why not order a pizza or a burrito? Then you can ask them for a lighter. If you don't feel like ordering a pizza, just go outside and flag a cab down. Cab drivers usually have lighters.

Uses for Vinegar

Kari's Advice: This is a preemptive answer for all those out there suffering from bug bites. One word; Vinegar. Not only will it stop the itching but it also doubles as perfume. Kari's Answers: I find that telling "sharting" stories really keeps the mood alive. If they continue making out with you after you tell of your sharting while watching Golden Girls story, you know it's true love.
